Gryphon's skins.

It's more of a question than a request, but I couldn't find a better topic to post it.
I tried get Gryphon's permission to use some of his base skins in my Mod, but couldn't find him (I suppose he changed his e-mail), so I had to ask:
-Someone knows how I can contact him?
-Basic skins can be used without specific permission?

95% of the time, if someone releases a base skin (IE: it is on teh intranetz) it's free to use and abuse. If it isn't, there's usually some notice that it's been disallowed... and since Gryphon has it hosted on his own website, I'd say it's perfectly fine.
