Oan writing

In some of the recent issues the Oans have used a sort of writing when writing things in the book of Oa.

what other issues do you guys know of where this writing was used? I'm working on a translator gizmo for it and have hit a snag. i simply don't have a large enough sample of text to do all the alphabet.

I'd check every GL title during and post Sinestro Corps War. Can't recall too much of the book being written in prior to.

Hmm... I'm currently using 4 issues as source material. Mostly the issues where the second, third, and fouth laws are introduced. Also the issue immediately after the one where the third law is introduced, but that's only for a plain text version of the third law. One thing I really want to see is somewhere the text is used without an accompanying translation. But so far all such sequences have been gibberish or unintelligible.

looking good, though you might want to try using bmp or gif format... the jpg compression on there makes that almost unusable.

Meh, I only uploaded a JPG because of file size constraints, the original is BMP.

and courtesy of somebody at another board, it turns out that this is "just" Interlac, which could have been easily looked up on wikipedia.... Meh.
