Hey guys! I was thinking how awesome it would be if the Tombstone mesh/skin were in  :ff:. I'm a noob at this, so I really have NO idea how to do it. But hey, it'd be great if someone would/already has!  :D

If you mean Irrational's version, I know it can be done (I've got a Renegade Hulk for FF1), but it takes more skill than I've got.

Still, guys and gals, if we were to adapt some FF1 meshes, where would we start? Cable? Add a mask from one of Tommy's meshes? Would his Joker fish guns do as skull pistols? And how does one do that fershluginner lightning?

Ouflah

Yeah, I have no idea how to do it but it would be so great.

What if you used NifSkope to export the Mesh into an (.Obj) or (.3ds) File? Could you then re-import it into an FF version?

Someone..... I think it was Johnny Patches, actually previewed an FF1 version of Tombstone a long time ago. I don't believe it was ever released though. IIRC, he previewed a couple of FFvtTR to FF conversions.

It's a shame he's not around anymore.  :(

Yeah that sounds like a great idea!

Would it work with FF1 keyframes? The Hulk I have uses Male Heavy or Hulking KF (I hate not being able to just open the thing up on my computer and look-but it's a mile away).

This is a bit above my skill level, but I would say that if you used RandomDays tutorials and rigged it to "Male_Basic" or something, you could do a body swap and put it onto a Mesh with a Cape and Guns.

Ouflah

Well your skill level far exceeds my own. Heck, the most I could do is maybe re-skin him on male_cape.

Although that export the mesh from  :ffvstr: into an .obj and then import it into the  :ff: format didn't sound too hard.

Unfortunately, once it's imported into FF1 (Assuming it can be done), I would then have to assume that it would need to be rigged to whatever Keyframes you wanted. That would probably need to be done in Blender or 3DS Max, all of which is way above my Skill level. The most I can do right now, is import an (Obj.) File into a (Nif) File (Basically, I've only done this with Weapons). And what I've done, I've only been able to do because of RandomDays and Windblown (Thanks guys ).

On the other hand, like Daglob said, maybe something similar could be set up for FF1 using NifSkope by using FF1 Meshes as a base.

I used Blender to create an FF-compatible version of Tombstone, but like it says above, not sure how to get anims working?

Any meshes (with cape and guns) that somebody would suggest I try?

For FF1, Meshes with both Guns (Both Hands) and a Cape:

There may be others, but these are the only two I can really think of off the top of my head.
