New MLP comic outsells top Marvel/DC comics like Green Lantern, WatX, Detective Comics, and Amazing Spider-man

Came across this bit of news today, thought I'd share. Most of the articles I've found are actually a bit outdated, because I've read that the sales are now well over 100,000 copies and the thing still hasn't even hit stands yet. Now, I'm not going to argue that the numbers are inflated a bit (they have 6 variant covers, and unlike other comic fans most bronies haven't yet learned that variant covers=cheap gimmick) but again, these are just the pre-orders.

So much for comics needing to be more dark and edgy to sell to comic fans.
