Looking for references for avatars...

I've been trying to get some references together for several FR avatars for my project over in Alternate Avatars. I pride myself in knowing some of the more obscure avatars on FR, but I'm stuck trying to find references for a few of these... which is particularly annoying since I KNOW I've seen some of them before.

*smack forehead* GRAH! I must have overlooked that about 20 times going through the avatar thread in general discussion. For some reason I just don't associate his avatar with his username.

The one of Night Dragon, however, isn't as helpful... it is indeed the most prominent skin available, but I'm specifically looking for references of the redesign MJB did for the Villains Reborn event (the one ND's using as his forum avatar).

((And no CB, I am not ignoring your post... the results are already up in the other thread. Enjoy!))

Well, i thought i had a copy of Panther Gunn's avatar saved in my pc. I must have backed it up in my other external hard drive. I'll try to see if i can still get it back. (From what i recall, he looks pretty much like Black Panther....with a red belt or was it red underpants he was wearing. With silver or white eye lenses like Ted Kord's Blue Beetle?..not sure..) I hope Panther Gunn eventually shows you the actual version/picture though.

I don't think i've shown a picture of my avatar though. I'm really flattered and honored of course, that my avatar is among those you're considering for "ponification"? .....Makes me feel like i'm actually part of a group/herd or something like that. Sniff...Sobs...

It also makes me want to try and actually finish my avatar skin too...

Considering? Pfft, I have a list of avatars I WILL do, eventually. Even if I have to design an avatar for those people (or, y'know... leverage someone else to do one FOR me).

Right now, there are 7 of you I'm planning on ponifying (hopefully most of you by this weekend)... Including the 4 already mentioned (CB doesn't count, as his is done) I'm also doing Bearded, Juancho, and Vamp. Fair warning.

... wait, what? Herodad... I think you're confused. I never asked for MJB's avatar... I've already done it. TWICE. I was asking for a reference of the Night Dragon av that MJB designed (and which Vamp already linked me to).

I actually had a totally different concept for "The Laughing Paradox".. but I liked that Saturn King design and name and concept, so I kinda stuck with that. There was a Saturn Queen concept I created too (Don't sue me, DC!) I'll have to design soon enough.

Looking forward to a Saturn Pony, I must admit.

Well, I was actually thinking about my own avatar for a bit now, so this is cool.

Laughing Paradox is a criminal that has a resemblance to Citizen Pain from Violent Messiahs.



His abilities are pyrokinesis, telepathy and telekinesis. I had an elaborate history for him, but I can't seem to find where I wrote it down. The formal suit and a wraparound mask combo is what I'm mainly looking for..the stitches aren't needed.

That'd be pretty cool.
LP is all solo...he was committed to a psych ward because the doctors believed he had schizophrenia, but it was actually his telepathy flaring up at an early age. After a while, he broke out of the ward and he stole one of his psychiatrist's suits. He wears a mask made out of his straightjacket, so maybe it can wrap around, all white with black accents? Slits where the eyes should be...maybe even glowing white or yellow? The mouth can appear cut open. Maybe even a buckle in the back of his head, latching the mask together?  Take some artistic license.

I would like the suit and tie to be black, or dark blue, and the shirt to be white. Black shoes. The mask should be black and white, too.

Wow.. Vamp! I don't know how you found that but great job.. that was definitely my original concept of the character! Man.. now that I actually skin, I should create that original concept. Thanks for that blast from the past, Vamp.

Oh, so NOW you wanna change? Well, I already made Saturn Pony 4 u. No take-backsies.

Just a minor update... Other then Outcast still needing to FINISH HIS AVATAR ALREADY, I'm adding Docdeloreon to the list... tho I don't even know if he has one. I might have to design something just to turn around and ponify it.
