This fan production just went live today:

It certainly attempts to recreate the gritty, urban drama of the vintage Mirage Turtles comics, but it also has has quite a few major references to the 1st live-action movie and 80s cartoon show.  Beware the violence and lots of blood if you don't want to sit through it.  It's around 40 minutes and is probably the best TMNT fan film ever made... a category in which there's probably only 2 other competitors (at most).

It's not perfect... but I did enjoy it!

Not bad.  I think I would have liked it better without the TMNT

Yeah, the worst part about the movie is probably the Michelangelo turtle costume, which I hate to say because it looked like that probably took the most time and effort to make. It's a great fan costume, but the film itself looked so great that the Mikey costume really reminded you this wasn't an official movie. Still, that costume really did lend itself to very fluid movement. I was seriously impressed by the actor/actors who brought Mikey to life through motion.

And believe it or not, Michelangelo was voiced by Robbie Rist, the original voice actor from the 1990 live-action movie!

How can I forget Robbie Rist!  Cousin Oliver from Brady Bunch and Whiz from Kidd Video!

Heh, yep, that too!  And I think Batman: The Animated Series parodied his Brady Bunch character in the episode, "Baby Doll."
