So, I broke down and decided to try this since my local store stop carrying comics. I LOVE IT! There, I said it. I'm just perusing through the entire Exiles run. Is Judd Winnick the same guy from the Real World SF? I love his writing. I got into Exiles during the King Hyperion arc and loved them. Never really read most of the backstories. Good stuff so far. Only bad thing about the digital comics is that not all of everything is up yet. Wanted more Dark Avengers and whatnot. ANybody else using this?

I have had it for maybe 4 to 6 months now and love it.

My ONLY problem are the gaps, like I dont know if they filled the "iron fist" ones out yet but key issues are missing here and there which almost feels like a cynical "well buy the trade then" ploy.

Still look up issues 1-12 of Nextwave, great stuff, especially if you like Exiles.

i'm hooked on it also.  wish dc did this.
i also started with exiles and went to next wave!
i'm reading the new black panther right now, and the ultimate fantastic four.

how the zombies tricked the guards, awesome!

If DC did this I would plop down another chunk of cash, even though I'm not a DC reader it would be worth having "batman on demand" when I'm at work.

Yes, Judd was on Real World back in the day... back during the time it wasn't completely mindless and had SOME messages worth learning. Also, if you value your mind, you should stop reading Exiles around the World Tour arc at the earliest, the Thunderbird issue at the latest. As soon as Psylocke shows up, you're in for one long repetitive story arc after another full of NuClaremont dialog and other of his assorted writing traits. Skip the Exiles Annual/Die by The Sword/and New Exiles completely. You can finish the Exiles off by reading the relaunch written by Jeff Parker, if it's online. I know the trades came out a few months ago, so I assume it'd be in the digital library by now, and it's only 6 issues.

Oh, I know about World Tour. I didn't mind too much until Psylocke became the center of the book. Claremont used to be so good. Nextwave will be next.

I've had a subscription for over a year now, and I've enjoyed it. There are some areas for improvement though (the gaps can be annoying, and the digital comics reader is more than a bit awkward) but I've gotten some pretty good millage out of it. I like using it to try out books I'd otherwise never read.   Currently I don't use it much though, because my computer's in the shop and I'm using a relative's (outdated) computer which doesn't run them very well.

Same here, I hate the gaps. I tried catching up on Astonishing and it dropped off for an entire arc.

But they have Uncanny X-Men with no gaps for most of them so that alone guarantees more comics than I'll ever have time to read.
I apologize in advance for everything I say on here. I regret it immediately after clicking post.
