Savage Sword of Conan on DVD?

Anyone know if they have released the Savage Sword of Conan on DVD like Marvel has done with many of their other properties such as X-men, Spider-man, Avengers, etc? If not has anyone heard if they plan to someday?

I highly doubt it.

First there is the licensing issues, as I think the license belongs to Dark horse comics now and they are doing graphic novel reprints of the series. Second is the content. It was always sort of a cult/niche title and was much more adult in nature than the regular Conan comic series. Given that the numbers of people who would be interested in such a DVD and the fact that its not really a family friendly release would make it a rather tough sell.
