Looking to get back into FFVTTR ... questions!

Hi guys,

I'm looking to get back into this game (FFVTTR) ... what do I need to install in order to use all the skins/meshes/maps and in what order do I install them? Do I need to install a particularl .net framework in order to run it?

Also, I can't find quite a few sites (Champions of Freedom, Renegades Toybox, etc). Was all the content from those sites saved to Yahoo groups? I'm guessing that the community has saved all this content so nothing was lost. I'm also looking for C6's skins (particularly the ones that used to be on Gamma Patrol) and Revenant's skins, as well as IPS's/Italpornstar's skins, meshes and keyframes (particularly his Cyclops FX)

Sorry about all the questions and thanks in advance! I'm glad to see this online community is still active ... even though its old, Freedom Force is still the best comic book game available, IMO

Chances are you won't find any of IPS's stuff uploaded anywhere. But I'm sure if you requested specific items in the requests forums, then I'm sure that you'll be able to get what you want.

Possibly a dumb question, but is there an inventory or listing for what was/is contained on each website? Something like that could be handy to replace missing content if a website goes down unexpectedly.

Various members have tried to get a list together, but there is so much content by so many members who jump back and forth between different websites and yahoo groups that most people just give up entirely after a few days. You can get the majority of what you need from the bigger websites (Heroforce, alexFF, NPI, tommy's freedom fortress, previously champions) and then use the request board to fill in the gaps. Benton's DCUG and Marvel mods are also easy ways to build up a collection without having to go looking for stuff.

As for IPS... I'm not coming down on you or anything, but for your own sake, let it lie. Talking about IPS is still a very sore subject... he managed to upset quite a few people on here a few years ago with his shenanigans, and he "asked" that we not showcase any of his work on this forum. If there are specific skins you want, post them on the request board, and be done with it.
