I'm a player in a game that will be starting soon over on Atomic Think Tank, that's going to be Yahoo IM based text chat game.  It's based on Freedom Force, somewhere between the first and second, with a little M&M setting sprinkled in.  Essentially the Freedom Force has gone missing after dealing with Nuclear Winter for the second time.  From the history though, it doesn't sound as if Blitzkrieg has anything to do with the disappearance, though as a player and not the GM, I can't know for sure.  Here's a link to the ad.

Sounds awesome. I love M+M 3e and am in a few games on Mythweavers. I've been on ATT since '03 as well. Not sure if I can play a chat game since my schedule is erratic. Would certainly do Play by Post.

If it helps, we basically are going to try to meet once maybe twice a month, at agreed upon times.  I've been talking to the GM off and on a bit and he seems like a nice guy.  I'd bet he wouldn't mind rescheduling on the times that don't end up working for a player.  In fact, he's already done so once when he's laptop went kerboom.

I posted over on Atomic Think Tank (I've been around a long time over there as well). Text chat could work though as I mentioned its a matter of timing.

Goodness. You guys going to save and post logs, or wha? I'm sure some people would like to read all about it.

We should be able to.  Yahoo has that functionality.

I talked to him and we're thinking of changing to play by post in order to better accomadate people's playtimes.  This may be supplemented by combat still being in chat but at an agreed upon time.
