So I was thinking the other day that other then the God of War series, I haven't played any exclusives for my ps3. The games that are actually optimized for the ps3's hardware. Most of the exclusives have multiple sequels too. My question for you guys is this, would you recommend that I play the first one first or could I jump right into part three for example and understand whats going on?

Play the first what first? God of War?
I have only played the third of that, but I found it to be pretty lame. The story is technically all there in flashbacks and whatnot, but maybe would be better if you played the first one first? I didn't really like it though.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant playing the first in the series of ps3 exclusives like Resistance, Unchartered, etc.

You could probably skip the first uncharted,  it is pretty good but the two latest are amazing.
I'd recommend the infamous games too.  I enjoyed both, but definitely don't play infamous 1 at the same time you're playing an assassins creed game,   The climbing just seems clunky compared to Ezio.    And of course heavy rain was mind blowing (for me at least) a real emotional roller coaster

Ahhh, I see. Well it depends on how into the stories you are. If you are really into them, then play them all.
But usually games don't require you to play the previous installments to be able to follow the story of a particular game. They will usually fill you in on what you need to know.

EDIT: As to recommendations... yeah play the Uncharteds. I played Resistance 2 and found it very lacking. Heavy Rain though, I dug. But it depends on what you are into. I could see people thinking the opposite.
