An awesome website i just read about:
http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/
Their goal is to scan every comic book that falls into the public domain. For the most part, you'll only find comics from the golden age.
You'll need to register to use the website, but if you're ready too contribute (any old comic you have may possibly be a treasure; they'r still looking for very old comics) it's really worthwhile.
That's really a project for comic-books lover, so i don't expect everybody to be interested; but i you happen to have a streak of nostalgia for seventy year old litterature, it's a true gold mine.
And remember, only comic books that fell into the public domain are put online, so don't expect to find many big franchise stuff.

Oh wow... HORROR COMICS! I gotta pick me up some Eerie as soon as I get a chance to register.
