Wolverine II and Xmen: First Class

Okay, I am well aware that there is a thread for Xmen First Class.  This is not exactly a thread about the movie but involves it.

About a week ago, the Georgia Production Partnership met.  They meet the first Tuesday of every month.  Truth be told, I should try to make a few more of the meetings.  However, the last time I went... it wasn't pretty.  (Long story with certain language that cannot be repeated here.)  At this past meeting, apparently the following information was divulged.

Along with the filming of parts of Xmen First Class down near Savannah, they have apparently decided to film a good portion of the second Wolverine movie there.  I don't know how much but I do know it was enough that they will benefit from the state's tax breaks.  

Here's the cool part: some of you might have seen the Avengers Assemble webisodes that were create by some friends of mine.  (It was meant to be a parody.  If you haven't seen it, go see it!)  The girl that played Ms. Marvel (and Spider Woman) is named Miracole Burns.  Miracole posted something a few days ago on Twitter about working on

"the biggest movie of my life next week. I am honored, excited & utterly terrified all at once. *geek-out*"

Knowing Miracole (and her husband Chris "Hawkeye" Burns for that matter), I would not be surprised to see her working in the costume department on either the Xmen movie or the Wolverine movie.  OR BOTH.

I am still trying to get it confirmed.  I was aware that Hugh was coming here to film SOMETHING but I am kinda shocked that it's Wolverine related.  As for post-war Japan, who's to say the whole film is taking place there.

No idea what they are filming there.   It could be one of those situations where they are filming interiors here and exteriors elsewhere.  They are reported doing that with the new Batman movie down in New Orleans.
