I need  :ffvstr: on my PSP!  That would kick the butt of 95% of the games on the market right now!!

How would you control the characters wihtout a mouse?

You could use the triggers for Tab Selecting a cursor across all available targets, but theres a lot of targets, say if you want to use Ignite on a particular streetlight in a city map..

Character select could be cycled through by D Pad..

What about moving a character to a point? How do you replace clicking the mouse on that point.

Just asking, as a curious PSP developer... :)

a couple things...
1) you could set up the psp controls like you would using xpadder or one of the game controllers that you can map controls to. for example analog stick controls a cursor, d-pad is character control, buttons for mouse clicks and overpower, etc.

2) I'm not sure but i think the marvel alliance and xml games for psp have been hacked.  i'm not sure if they can be exported too as well (you'd have to check out marvel mods.com)
maybe it would be possible to script in Freedom force situations and characters into that engine.?

Possible, but unlikely. MUA really isn't open source, the guys over on marvel mods still haven't really cracked the 27 char limit, and the engine is so much different (and not just on the powers side, but even the basic stuff like jumping, flight, basic attacks...) you'd end up having to warp it to the point it's not FF anymore. Not that I'd personally mind (I love the MUA engine) but it does sort of defeat the point.
