YAHOO GROUP TROUBLE!

Someone mentioned that Yahoo groups are a little flaky, and I mentioned that recently (yesterday) I had been finding more files missing at Yahoo Groups than there. It's just easier sometimes to check out a Group than to wade thorugh a bunch of CDs. Today I checked Character Obscura, and none of the files there could be downloaded. About half of the files at CO2 and CO3 have that problem.

Checking out the Groups Blog, I see that there is some kind of search fucntion update going on. While I'm not certain, I believe that the stuff in a Yahoo group is kept in some kind of archived or compacted format until it is actally accessed (reasons why will not be discussed here). It may be that the search function hasn't quite got the database right, or it could be something else entirely that has nothing to do with the search function. The blog says that if you are having trouble let customer care know, so I did.

I've checked out a few groups: I couldn't get anything from 3D Master or Afghan Ant, only one or two from Aly Cat76. Yesterday, I was having trouble with INK's older groups and I know one or two others.

Those of yoU with groups might should check them.

yeah, noticed that with texas jacks groups weeks ago.go back a day later or even a few minutes and it lets you load what you tried before.
