As requested by Benton Grey Vultureman from Thundercats. Skin is a bit earthy but I think the meshed vulturehead turned out pretty well.

Bevo, that's excellent, man.  You said you weren't pleased with the skin, but I think it actually turned out quite well.  You could probably lighten the skin tone up a bit, but other than that, I think you captured him in all of his ugly glory.

Thanks Benton & Spyderman. Nearly done I just need to mesh his sword and ramhead staff. Ramhead is proving to be harder for some reason.

Anyone have an idea besides johnny patches method of adding the refl to objects? I have never had trouble in the past using this method but I can not seem to turn on reflection on rens superman. I hate to have to port all these bits and pieces over to another mesh.

He's coming along great Bevo!  That is really fantastic work on the skull there.  I'm afraid I can't be of much help either, though.

What part of the reflection is not working? Is the refl/glow not in the Nitexture Property or is it an omni issue?

hmm judging by the look of the wip, you're basing it on the 200x look of old bone head, if you want i can help supply and reference pics and the differences between his various looks. you need anything just ask

Thanks for all the great input and help. Thanks for the mesh offer Ow_tiobe_sb,  I just bit the bullet and finished meshing out the parts. I just need to transfer him to a skope with refl and glow this one is broke I guess. I sure can not figure it out.  In answering area34 it must be an omni issue. As if I even know what that means really but its seems to affect all parts. I have tried all the tricks I know, if you got an idea to fix would be much appreciated, reskoping the glowing eyes yeeck. I still need to tweek his weapons placement just a smidge.  UE he will need a proper skin. P Ha Ow_tiobe_sb very observant, cut and paste.

I put it up on my yahoo group it is done. Nothing different besides he now has reflective powers on his skin and gear, and some other minor adjustments. He could use a better skin but I will leave that up to people who know how. The current should suffice until a proper one can be done, Bram stoker and all.

Thanks hope ya'll enjoy. That is indeed volsungs skull. This skope is for ffvt3r. I could make all the skeletor pieces available on my yahoo group and someone else could make a ff skope if people wanted. It would not be that hard just need to be able to see it in a ctool. Very rare I can manage to make one that works on both.

I put the parts up on my group. The parts are easy to work with. Basic -90 or 90 degree on main node to turn it in right direction. THen on the object basically the same -95 maybe +95 then some tweeking. Skope away.!! :thumbup:

Suggestions welcome on what to try next. I am limited in that I can only make objects and skope them to stuff. Animation not possible with maya nif plugin.

wingzero already made lion O I doubt I could do any better, the hair maybe could use a little rounding out. HIs sword and claw look perfect to me. Maybe Thundar Ookla Ariel? Ride?

Wingzero's Thundercats meshes are cool, but apparently they have issues that give skinners fits.  Lion-O, however, received an excellent skope, so he's good.  The other Cats and their villains would all be awesome.  Ha, like TUE, I could list a hundred and one things.  I think that more Mutants would be cool, like Slithe:

I am still not happy with ooklas hair. I never had a harder time meshing such a simple design. It is odd. Yes sword vanishes from his arm into his hand. The concept is really from the saturdaymorning cartoon guy. It's his idea to do that.

Lords of Light!  I love Thundarr!  Great work on those guys, you really captured the characters.  I love the fact that you've given Thundarr a disappearing sunsword!  Now I have a very mild temptation to put together a Thundarr mod....but, no, there's too much else to do. ;)

I like your newest creation too.  He's intimidating.  I love the fire effect on his mouth.  I imagine he'll find good use as a villain in more projects than one.

Incredible work with the Thundarr guys and your avatar, Bevo. I'm impressed with the details in the wings and horns. And the fire effect is great!
I agree with Benton, this guys looks like a great boss villain for a mystic based mission.

Ha!  I was actually thinking about putting together some cross-over stuff...I have talked before about my "Saturday Morning Pack" that I envision, and I have considered putting everything together and adding in some cross-over missions...hmm....

I really wish I could have gotten those wings to flap or fly. I just could not figure out how to get a flying animation onto renegades hulk keyframes. I Would love to see him fly.
Either way devil pieces are very skopable got some new horns. wings and I think I can make a decent bat out of those wings, just need to mesh a bat body.

About a week or two ago I finished reading the latest Invaders TPB which had the Iron Cross stories.

Thanks cyber. It was not as bad as you think. I was trying to fix a stylized Magneto helmet for blkcasanova and it turned into this. The spikes are part of the helmet so no removing them, unless you put it in max and seperate, feel free to do so.

Very cool. I seem to recall the counter earth version of the character appearing in Thunderbolts. I think Zemo stole his new body from that version of the Iron Cross.

Quasimodo is one of my least favorite Marvel villains, but you did a really good job on him.  Anyone that can take on the Silver Surfer is somebody to be reckoned with.

I'm not sure what that box is.  I don't think I've read a story where he has a magic box.  Something to research!!!!!

Nice job on all these Bevo!   I especially like the Young gods. 
But I have to wonder......are you going through all my old crappy skins of the characters I made long time ago and making awsome versions of those characters (young gods, Quasi, Gierr)?

I certainly have not singled you out USAgent. If not for you.. having.. I guess made the pattern on some of these, it would have taken me much longer and many more times saving tga's and checking ctool. So thanks! I probably should have mentioned your contribution to the young gods. :doh:

Thanks LP, DL, BG. I should have remeshed those wings and added some little arms, but seemed so much trouble for so little effect. I am going to try and tackle a few of these guys next. Only ones I doubt I can do are Cryb and Bedouian. Tri-eye looks like an interesting mesh to make. Of course Romat and Arkillo are already done.

I had a fit and pumped out Tri eye. NOT a release. I await permissions to use the costume skin. If not I guess I will make my own but its gonna suck. This is just a wip preview.

Thanks. It turned out nicely. I wish I could do better uv mapping but I just cant sit for days mapping uvs for freedom force. I hate it. I was looking at a program called 3d paint and deep UV. They look pretty nice. Hefty price tag of 1000 bucks. Anyone used either of these before?

Damn Bevo, you been kicking some arse lately.  I mean, just mesh after mesh. And Quasimodo and Gerridour have been SPOT ON. Not to mention Thundarr and Skeletor. And now the bat....now I have to use him with the Dracula mesh.

If I can find a cool picture like one above may try some red lanterns. I have never read any of the Lantern comics so I am unfamiliar. I have read some Solomon Kane.Eh I really suck at skinning clothing specially but he comes with some new pistols and a hat and sword for future skopes. Maybe some decent skinner likes SK as much as I do and give shim some proper duds. He is up on group.

WIP I have not had much time to do FF. Dabbling with this a little bit. The Uvs around midrift and butt are giving me fits. Very skimpy outfits seem rough to do. I would like to see it done but I am about to give up on the skin. Other meshes could work but vampirella needs high heels, I think. Any skinner wants to finish it let me know.

Thanks cyber. Though most credit is to the guys who made the base skins c6, tomato. Hell sandman is pretty much nothing but a tomato suit base recolored. I don't claim to know how to skin worth a darn. Skopes and meshes are all i really claim any credit for. I forgot googleplex!! awesome base.

I don't think I'm exaggerating by saying this, but that Werewof by Night face is one of the best I've seen skinned for FR. It so good, it looks photoskinned and even if it was, it's amazing. Great job

I'm glad you guys like that wwbn. I always liked that character. I used to read my big brothers comics, and that guy always fascinated me for some reason. The face is kind of a photoskin. I basically took a pic of him cut in half merged halfs and then repainted it, using it as a guide.
I worked much harder on the pants lol.

Actually at one time he was token over by the Nazis becuase they held the guy's brother or relative hostage and threatened to kill them if Golem didn't join the Nazi forces.  It didn't last, of course, becuase the Defenders saved the hostage and brought Golem back to the Allied side.

By far one of the most incredible pieces of art you have ever created, Bevo! I applaud your awesomeness. :thumbup:

   Thanks Danz, Amazo and Xenolith. Really the medical models I ripped off kind of made the skope, and C6 costume. Im not sure if DC actually showed Slussh innards. I could only find one pic of him. Kinda a cross of SLush and Mattlel's "Pulsar." A toy I had when I was a kid. Squeeze him and you could see his innards pump blood etc. Look it up its hilarious.
  Danz I'm all done lost maya and PS. I'll get it back eventually. When I do Ill def take a look at Red Lanterns. Most of those just require meshing a head or mask type thing to drop on head node. I wish they would put out a decent working nif converter for maya. With the current converter I'm limited to just being able to make objects.

:lol: Thanks Spyder. I was thinking the other day I have not tried anything I have made in game since windows 7 came out. For all I know they are all goofy. Thanks for showing.

Bevo, Slussh is really amazing...And kinda gross...Great work!  I am in no way a Lantern fan, but they look fantastic in Spyder's in-game pictures.

Not really a fan of the Lanterns, but I had to download Slussh to get a better look. Truly amazing work. On the other hand, I too was a big fan of The Invaders as a kid, and was overjoyed to see these characters done, and done so well. I especially appreciate that you take such care to give all your meshes/skopes appropriate keyframes, something that is too often neglected. Thanks for sharing your amazing toys with us! :D

Ohh my gosh....that Slussh is just amazing Bevo.  I sorta' figured that he was one of those characters that we'd never really see captured in this game.  You've done an amazing job bringing him to life!

Bevo, thanks for your work on the Marvel Axis guys!  They're all fantastic, and now I've got a better group of villains to throw at the Invaders in their campaign!
