Would it be possible to mass convert the EZFX effects to work with FFvTTR then merge the DATs?

mass convert them to what? No, you can't merge ff1's fx dats with FFVTTR's fx dats.

We should figure out a way to do that. A simple program that merges old dats with new ones. That caused my Freedom Force to crash. ONE line of old code.
