X-Factor Polaris Armor

Hey guys,
I've been trying to do make this Polaris skin (onto a Jean grey_INK mesh) but I'm stuck with the armor for so long its giving me a headache, I feel like I've already tried everything and since I can't create any 3D parts to save my life, I thought I'd ask for a little help. I've got the hair and gloves right, it looks promising - but the chest armor and the waist (er...panties) parts are missing. The collar part of the vest I think i have it right, so it just the chest part and the...panties..thingie. The knee pad would be a plus – maybe I'll just skin that, but if it can be done that'd be swell, too.
While I guess just the skin would be ok, it wouldn't look as good if I had all the pieces together, its that kind of detail that makes the difference for me (I guess I'm a lit bit of a perfectionist freak like that, hehe). So, I've tried skoping bits from other meshes, but nothing will look right, because her armor is very skintight, ideally it would be almost like a second mesh extruding from her body, nothing too loose or too big (I've tried to make the panties from an Ironman belt and it looked like diapers - not very nice).
So, any suggestions as to where I can find the right mesh to do this, or if I may humbly ask someone to skope them for me? I'd appreciate that a lot!   Please? Pretty please? Here are some pics for reference, let me know if you need anything else. :D And thanks in advance!
