Ultimate Alpha Flight? I'm actually afraid to ask what they look like...

Previsionary

they look ok minus vindicator and his siren light things. A picture would have been nice, topic starter. :P

If you don't have one, I still have the books and I can easily scan them.

Burnout

can u scan them cause the one picture i have dont look so good plus can we also get what the new ultimate xmen look like hooked on mgh to
this is the picture i have of them  http://www.comicvine.com/alpha-flight/65-14616/ultimate-alpha-flight/108-22813/47771-alpha-flight/105-387813/

Previsionary

the MGH x-men (this includes colossus though he doesn't go through a change):

The others will have to wait until I'm near the books again. The other "banshee" user has already been skinned. (purposely vague)

dear god...I knew I shouldn't have asked.

Marvel's Ultimate character design garbage pile just got a bit bigger...

You really no like, c6? Most of them look passable to me. The only ones I really don't like are vindicator and maybe Shaman...from that pic.

Vindicator is an embarrassment. A total dumping on John Byrne's classic design and Captain Canuck. Pretty much a slap in the face to Canada right there.

Aurora. More black leather. Yawn.

Jubilee. Super heroes in street clothes...again yawn.

Sasquatch. Looks more like Sasqwolf.

Sunfire. Can't really tell.

Snowbird. That's not Snowbird. It's Talisman.

Shaman. See Jubilee

Courtnall6

I forgot to add....

You cannot have an Alpha Flight team without PUCK!!!

Courtnall6

And by PUCK I mean a 3 foot dwarf that spins and tumbles around...not some teenage girl that looks like Avril Lavigne

Previsionary

lol, you're hilarious today. I got more pics, I'll add them to this post later. C6, I gotta say the street clothes is signature to Jubilee and her showing Dazzler love is also pretty accurate, so that actually works for her. Also, Sasquatch is actually...WOLFSBANE with her powers amped to an extreme level. Kinda shocking since Kirkman killed her a few issues ago, I'm pretty sure. When the man retcons, he seriously retcons (his own run).

I'd give you a pass style...but then I'd have to give one to Luke Cage and it would just snowball from there. Sorry :P

Previsionary

Luke cage is awesome. You're just mad he's bald and without his power tiara! :P

Ok, tons of pics to follow. I should warn that these are spoiler heavy, so if you actually read UXM (and didn't drop after kirkman's run), then avoid. If this proves to be a problem later on, I can hide them behind spoiler tags:

Alpha Flight:

Flight + Banshee X-men:

Where did you get the idea Kirkman is still writing Ultimate X-Men? The current writer of this arc is Aron E. Coleite (from TV's Heroes) and he is doing pretty well at bringing the title back up to par especially when it's just a few issues away from Ultimatium which is rumored to be doing away with current X-Men line-up entirely.

Um...I know who is writing the book and I don't even know how you misconstrued my post, heh. I do write reviews on the book all the time and couldn't wait for kirkman to leave...

My point was that ultimate wolfsbane, or what appeared to be her, was killed off a few issues ago, so it's surprising to see her back as sasquatch. Which brings us to my retcon statement...which the last issue of kirkman's run pretty much was.

Oops..  :banghead:  My error.. I misread "When the man retcons, he seriously retcons (his own run)" entirely.. by the time I realized what I did you already replied to my post...I somehow got my brain scrambled by rereading Kirkman's X-Men run and was beliving that everyone thought Kirkman was staying on for good.

Marvel editorial probably decided that Kirkman's issues needed to be reconned before the ink on his last few issues had time to dry.

Umm who's the giant bird on the X-Men?

Not too high on the new Alpha Flight designs. Interesting though.

Previsionary

No worries, Crim.

The last pic in my previous post points out it's angel. :P

But yes, it's Angel with his mutant power pushed to a higher degree. They haven't shown the real extents of his powers on MGH/Banshee yet, so I don't know if he can change forms or anything.

I thought it was probably him, but seems pretty weird. I just looked at your pictures, didn't really read them. No comments on this story particularly but I've always hated Ultimate X-Men conceptionally.

While I don't have much of a problem with many of them (save the light bulbs in Vindicator), I do think Snowbird makes more sense than being a Caucasian blonde woman. She is suppose to be a First Nation Demi-Goddess and I always thought she looked more like a Norse demi-goddess to be honest.

Hey now...let's not bring logic into this! :P

A bird-man Angel....

laughing paradox

The costumes aren't that memorable, but Ultimate Snowbird appears a bit more accurate to a person of Inuit descent. I know it's only a comic and all, but I appreciate the  attempt at having her look more authentic.

With that said, that sentiment does not cover her costume. It is pretty bad. Her original, blue-and-white costume was a greater design.

PFFT! What would you rather be/have? A power tiara or be part eagle? HUH! :P

Speaking of snowbird, I'd love a new skin of her rather it's 616 (who's currently in incredible herc dealing with her grief in a total soap opera fashion...by sleeping it off with a man) or the ultimate version.

Burnout

it is pretty funny how this request has turned into a bashing of ultimate costumes

It looks like Vindicator is wearing a few of those Chinese massage suction cup things. Is leading Ultimate Alpha Flight really THAT intense??

YES!

Actually, if I understood the scene correctly, those siren things are full of liquids (IE: banshee). Why? I don't know.
