Howdy Folks,

After three years I'm tried of Nite Stalker's costume and I looking something different. I used Nite Stalker in a storyboarding class I had last semester and the teacher liked the story but wasn't impressed with Nite Stalker's costume so I'm here looking for a new costume design. Here's the way he looks now...

He's a character who's reliant upon his stealth and gadgets. He's the guy that does infiltration and recon for the group. He has above average reflexes and strength but nothing superhuman. In the DC universe he'd be somewhere between Batman and Nightwing.

What I'm looking for is a new costume design but it doesn't have to be a new skin. It could be just a rough sketch on a piece of paper. Don't feel like you need to keep to the black and purple colors either. Let me say thank you in advance to anyone willing to donate their time to this project.

I've actually always liked Nite Stalker's costume, to be honest... It's got a simple elegance that I love, and the black/purple colour scheme is actually pretty sweet.

However, I'd love to try my hand at designing a new one... it may not be as flashy as you want. My designs are usually simpler. And since it might not even be used, don't let my offer stop anybody else from coming up with something!

I took a shot at it.

I did'nt want to stray too much from the original design as i do actually like it, but i did change the purple just so he is more stealthy.
I went with the cyber-ninja look just because when i think of stealth i think ninja.
I did 2 versions just so you can see what he looks like when he isn't tooled up ;)
Let me know if you want anything added or changed?

And here I ended up going with a weirdo techy stealth suit. Straps and pouches for gadgets, a grappling hook, and some crazy batons coming off the arms. And those lights? They are actually these little generators that set up a field that bends lights, therefore he is rendered invisible on a scale similar to the Predator.

I like both of them. They each have their respective high points.

If you could choose your keyframes based off of any  :ff: mesh, what keys would you use?

Just curios.

Gentlemen,

Thank you for your wonderful design ideas. Hopefully I'll get some free time to incorporate your designs into my character. I did a couple of sketches of Nite Stalker as more of a 1940's crime fighter. I'm still working on inking them. I'll post them once I get them done. As far as keyframes go I normally use Batman's keyframes. I use a Batman mesh with the cape and belt turned off. The mesh I'm used for that picture is GL_John_Stewart_Modern by Renegade. I really like the muscular build of the mesh. Once again thanks for all your help!

you can just try skoping the john stewart male basic into batman's keyframes... that'll be cool... and be sure to tell me when your av is up so that i can get my hands on them and add it to my av collection...
