Aye congrats to Pompey; a deserved win, even if it was a quite a tedious match for the neutral (not that you'd have cared, nor should you  :)).

yell0w_lantern

Where is Bandwagonman when you need him.

And I was impressed with the win.  The first time a team from outside the big four has held it in 12 years.

Yes... I know. For you see, I was that American tourist, and now I have exacted my revenge at you mocking me by making a clearly intentionally scathing and in no way harmlessly joking post on an internet forum to exact my revenge upon you! Mwah! MWAH! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, with all due respect, I'd be more confused if you DID speak like The Queen.  It's probably confuse British tourists somewhat (hey, it confuses some tourists from up North) that people in the Southern United States don't all go around saying "Ya'll".

As for Mr. BWPS, please understand that he is a fan of the Auburn college (American) football team, and nowhere near as up to par on "soccer" as say fans of the Georgia Bulldogs, as we were the best team in the SEC last season and got screwed out of the title on a technicality.  (Sorry, couldn't resist a little American College football rivalry based jabbing here.  I fully expect BWPS and I and a few others here to be at one another in full force come the start of the season.  I wil be grossly disappointed otherwise.)

And on a side note, while I was impressed by the FA Cup win, I would've been happy to have seen West Ham in the finals too.

all I could think about on saturday was "if we lose, i'm so not leaving this house" luckily we didnt lose, tho the seafront was crowded all sunday because of it
