I checked the Master Mesh list already. Is there a Pied Piper mesh somewhere? A skin perhaps?

Panther_Gunn

FLASH_22798 had worked on one, and I think he had it finished (but not skinned) when he decided to do other things with his time.  He handed it off to kssaints, presumably to skin, possibly to make other adjustments.  That's the last I heard of it.  We're speaking of the classic Piper, not the new one, yes?

Perhaps it's like the Underdog mesh that we got teased with, but never released.  ;)

I was asked to do one, started, and then my long 'dry' period kicked in, so he never got done.
I will see what I can do now I'm back in the game.

What's the possibility that we could see some different wind instruments for different ranged keyframes?  A flute (recorder, piccolo, etc), horn, panpipes, the Piper's infamous dual pipes, perhaps even bagpipes?  I guess it all depends on how creative & generous you're feeling.  ^_^

I'd be happy to contribute to this potential piper_versatile project, as I have already meshed a number of musical instruments (though, I would need to see reference pics for any unusual or stylised instruments the Piper has used--e.g., "the Piper's infamous dual pipes" ).  And, of course, I'd love the opportunity to do some bagpipes, but I suspect they, unlike some other wind instruments, might require more specialised keyframes to accommodate the bag without clipping terribly.  If tommy is game, I'd be happy to set my mind to doing some of these items and sharing my .max files for ease of transfer. :)

I do have the original skope that FLASH_22798 did, it was on one of the disks that he had given me. I'd be happy to pass it along if it would help the cause.

OUCH!
You cut me deep, Shrek.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm up to my frenulum in projects right now.
It's too bad we don't have access to the Bard Max file - his keys would be hilarious for Pied Piper!

Doesn't Pan have keys from which to crib?

My plan at the moment is for several versions.
A classic (ie the first 1959 John Broome scripted version), a caped one (from his 'piper' period where he reformed), and the modern look seen in countdown etc. Dunno about the slightly odd 'combat' costume with shoulder pads and such...
Having several instruments is probably a good idea, if OW is happy to collaborate I would be lucky to have his instruments.
I'll look at the Pan kf's, but to be honest, I was going to make some new ones for the ranged/area/etc as I think they'll be pretty easy.
I may start on him/them this weekend if I feel so disposed.
