(edited because its not worth the trouble)
This post was about a email that my mothers friend had send to me and it was about doing a good deed for another. Being it was Christmas time I thought that it was worth posting but now all I want is for a admin to delete this thread.

D, please stop posting e-mail chain letters on the boards. Everybody here gets enough of this crap in their own inboxes, we don't need it posted here.

Nevermind the fact that this is a blatantly religious story, and is therefore in violation of the forum rules. Or the fact that these "motivational stories" are usually fictitious. Or the fact that even if this was real, it's written very much in a "hey I'm freaking awesome" fashion (doing good deeds, and then broadcasting that fact and looking for praise, is a really crappy thing to do).

Never mind all that: it's mostly just really, really annoying. And this isn't the first time you've done it-- or did you not notice that you never get replies to them?

I posted this because the people here believe in heroes and the power of doing good. i'm sorry if anyone gets mad at this posting but it was not posted to get a reply but to get people thinking about how their actions can help others. Not to get a knee jerk reaction or cause a spaz attack. No wonder people keep getting mad at you,

Okay.

Good.

Exploding or Non-Exploding? I can use both, mind you.

Except that's not what the story was about. The message was that your God acts through "angels" on Earth. It's religious platitudes, and nowhere near as deep or thought-provoking as you seem to think.
