I`ve finally got my wii connected to l`intraweb so I thought I`d post here to show you how awesome it is. The only problem is how long it takes to type, eg 10 min to write this message. Now I have a sore hand so you`ll have to excuse me.

Well, i think just having a wii  is pretty awesome by itself. I'm looking forward to owning one someday. In a not so distant future maybe.  :P Glad to know you could do a lot more with it than just play games. ^_^

That's cool. I didn't know the Wii had a general browser capability. Apparently, it accepts cookies and all. Does it allow scripting, Java, ActiveX..? *mind reels at new world of evil virus / trojan / browser tracking this might spawn*

Posting on my PC now. Just to explain to everyone the wii doesn't have a keyboard it has a kinda onscreen keyboard which you have to point your wiimote at and choose letters to type. You have to have a steady hand, and that's why mine was hurting, :P .

And in response to your other question. Wii is an Opera based browser but you can't do additional browser addons. So, no flash, java. It does do cookies and active X though which ain't so bad.

Just so you know, I'm preeeeetty sure that a recent firmware update and internet channel update allows you to plug a USB keyboard in the back of that sucker. Also, I wuv my Wii <3.
