Hi Peoples,

Yeah it's been a while since I checked in.  Glad to see so many FF Members still active.  I remember someone made a ncie video of his toon I think the video starts with him in his Private ID then spins or something into a Blue and Yellow Costume?  I want to say like a Cosmic Kid, Dynamo Kid or something.  I forget... I'm lucky enough my memory remembered FF.  ..... I'd really appreciate either a link or something so i can either Download for personal use & show friends when they come over.  Or of the video was put on YouTube the address.  I just remembered the video and its like a demon loop song... I keep getting bits and pieces until I can watch it thru.

Anyways.... Great to see FF going strong in both CoH & CoV now...   Semper Fi

Maybe it was Dynamo? I looked for it last night but failed to find it.  One of the Moderators (one of those OLD Players) found it.... it was made over 2 yrs ago I think (not 100% sure but sounds about right)   The video was the first one posted on FF Forums I think.

It was a CoH video ... was made well before CoV came out

It was a video made by Bugbear for the FR supergroup in CoH.  It featured the founders of the group: Darkhart, Kid Dynamo, Marmeille and Tortuga.  I'm going to move this thread to CoH discussion and hopefully somebody there can link you up.

The song is "Freewill" by Rush.

"Freewill" by Rush being the soundtrack is the only thing that keeps me from liking this video. It's one of the most well-executed demo edits I've ever seen, but HOT DAMN does that song ever suck a ton of @ss.

Anyways, I made the video, over two years ago.  It took about three months, which is why I've never made another one.  I've also gone through a love/hate relationship with the demo edit feature, which is officially unsupported by the developers, and therefore occasionally goes through unexpected behavioural changes when new issues come out.  A lot of my old saved demos simply won't play now, and others will inflict weird geometry on certain characters (like freakishly large hands).

On the other hand, it would be nice to see how much better quality picture I could create on my current PC.  The images for that video were captured and rendered on my old PC, with it's whopping 512 RAM and ATI 9000 Pro video card.

I'm glad people liked it though.  It was (mostly) fun to make.

You should really repost the Video  and YouTube upload it .... I'm sure others would like it as well.   When I saw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGF0MYORADE I laughed and admired the video.  He makes the Gun seem like its actually part of the game,  Your video simply stood out in my mind years later.
