Duke Nukem mesh / skin?

I suppose I'm part of this 'bunch of stupid morons', so let me quote myself:

...There's been no butchering, stealing, spitting on someones face, etc. The mesh was not released (as far as I know, and I'm the one who asked for it).

Any work made here by me (skins and ezscript missions) was doing in a respectful way towards the original authors of the meshes and FFX32. Any work showed here has not been released as I said in other post:

There is no response from TJ, so all the thing was changed to merely skinning. These skins have not been released. You won't find any kitbashing in the skins in any male_basic.tga file posted as pic., the parts/accesories skin files are from the original authors.

The aim of this thread was to be the beginning of a mod about Duke Nukem, but there won't be any Duke Nukem mod (at least made by me). All this work would have went back to community WITH THE EXPLICIT PERMISSION OF THE AUTHORS. I don't know if I' making myself clear, so let me again:

Without explicit permission from the authors, nothing would have been released. I WOULD HAVE NEVER RELEASED ANY UNATHORISED SKOPED, HEXED OR WHATEVER WORK, AS I SAID IN PREVIUOS POSTS. I don't know if anyone cares but NO WORK ALREADY MADE BY ME AS PART OF THIS PROJECT (for being more presice, skins and ezscript missions) WILL BE RELEASED

so calm down and relax.

On the other hand, I don't want to go personal with any of you. I have tried and I'm trying to be as polite as I can and my personal formation lets me. I don't know what to say when someone calls me in internet 'stupid moron'. Nobody has ever called me that in person, face by face. I want to think that one reason for that is because I have never earned such calificative. Other reason might be that is very easy to say that in your home, in front of your keyboard and your screen. I suppose one knows when one writes something offensive, someone can be offended.

If any of you have felt insulted or offended in any way by what I have posted here or in any other posts by me, I'm really sorry.

right obviously this was for my benefit. so can be please act like grown ups and not throw temper tantrums. i never once actually singled anyone out with my post. if i wanted to i would have. my post was basically a statement at the mentality of the of some of the new breed of posters that seem to have appeared on this board.

but you can see where i stand i come to a thread to see something that may be of interest to me and find my work stolen. you can see why i would be angry. the state of i was getting at was simply a large amount of new posters don't seem to want to learn the rules of the board and are treating this place as nothing more than simply a buffet.

You must have singled on the first place. You can't say 'If I wanted to I would have'. If you have the guts to write what you did, you must have the guts to single because if you don't do it other people can be offended too. Besides, there shouldn't be any room here for insults of for offensive words. I think we all here are grown ups to accept critics (critics are not insults). On the other hand, I have every right of throwing a temper tantrum after reading things like 'stupid moron'. I suppose that you know it already but I'm going to be straight: you have offended me. You have had a great oportunity in your last post to apologize and say something like:

'Sorry if any have felt offended for my words, I shouldn't say that. I'm just saying that there are too many good work done here by talented artist and we should respect them'.

Anyway, I can't understand why after reading my words in red from the last post you're still saying that. I dare you to find in Internet or anywhere any unathorised (or even authorised) work related to this mod. If you find any, I'll agree with you. If you don't you'll realise that in this thread I was respecting the desire of the authors. There wasn't any stolen work here. There was a point in the thread when we were skoping what we shouldn't. We were warned, we ask for permission and the permission didn't come so that skoping was stopped. THAT WORK WAS NOT RELEASED. All further work was done following the rules: no kitbashing, no unathorised skoping, etc.

In your own words, you can see where I stand too. I try to say things politely, to apologize when I'm wrong or when I offend someone and to respect the work of everyone here (because I try to contribute with my own work and I want it to be respected too).

Keep it civil. Veteran poster or newbie, the rules are there for a reason.

It's pretty simple in the end.

Nothing should be hexed or skoped for distribution without the permission of the original creators. To do otherwise if flat out disrespectful. If you want to hex or skope meshes for distribution, get permission, and give credit.

Some creators have provided blanket permission for hexing in their readme's. Don't assume the absence of express permission equates to permission. If it doesn't say you can do it, don't do it.

Kitbashing for distribution is out, full stop.

I'll also remind all that we have a moderation team for a reason. If you spot a flagrant breach of forum rules, notify the moderation team. It's one thing to take it upon yourself to help newer members understand the way things work (and we appreciate such efforts), but leave the policing up to those authorised to do so. If you spot something that you think needs our attention, then PM us or use the "notify" button. That's what it's there for.

As always, it's never a good idea to let personal feelings enter your posts - don't post angry. More often than not that's where flame wars start, and then I have to start banning people.

Yes I did read, and there's nothing wrong about posting here since it is a DN request(it is a Duke Nukem mesh / skin thread after all), I know what happened to the other mesh, but I need the skin for the male_heavy_chaingun or some new mesh...Do I need to create another post/request for Duke it out? ;)

If he doesn't release it, well umm...I know some of the meshes he used.
