Bringing a CoH Character to FFv3R

Street_Wolf

Hey everyone. I picked up   :ffvstr: a little while back (maybe 4 months ago or so). Only recently have I really started getting into meshes and skins (well, downloading them at least :p, I can't mesh, and I can only do very basic skin things using Photoshop filters, but that's another post.) I've also been playing City of Heroes for a little more than 2 years now, so obviously I have more experience in one than the other.

In CoH, I have a name sake (Street Wolf) whom I REALLY would like to be able to bring into FFv3R. Below are several different pictures of him. If someone would be really nice and help a guy out, I'd appreciate it :). I'm asking for a skin and mesh, which I know could be a good amount of work, so I wouldn't ask for a rush on it at all. I just want to be able to have my namesake be in this game too. :) As for keyframes, maybe you could also point me to some good claw slashing animations.

The Above are without his claws out. For the mesh, I would be fine with the claws being permanently out. Below are pictures with his claws out.

That's all for the screenshots. Just 2 minor details that I want to make sure are noticed are the converse style sneakers, as well as the broach for the cape.

Thanks to anyone who even gives it a shot, a hope someone does!  :D

I may be able to NIFSkope a mesh for you, but before I offer, let me make sure of some things...

Are the following correct items on your character?

1.  Backward ballcap   :o
2.  cowboy bank robber style bandanna on face
3.  a four-piece cape (almost like 4 sashes?)
4.  bell bottom style pants
5.  3 retractable claws like Wolverine's  (on this one I'm pretty sure)
(All emote commentaries for humorous intent only --except the cape...I really like the cape very much.  And I normally hate capes.)

I think that covers my questions.  So, let me know, and if they are correct I will offer to make your mesh.  I don't skin, though...but perhaps with a mesh ready to go, you can more easily find a skinner.  :)

Also a nice set of screen captures.

Kaede

you're character looks interesting... i'll give it a try myself...

Street_Wolf

Oh, wow, thanks ^_^

And to Peerless,

1) Yes, it's a backwards cap :)

2) It is a bandanna.

3) This is incorrect actually. It's just a pattern on the cape. I tried to find a somewhat light area in game, and the top of the bridge was the best I could get, sorry =/. The rest of the cape is black.

4) I prefer to call them baggy jeans ;) Street Wolf isn't really intended to be a Golden/Silver/Bronze Age hero =P

Woops, forgot 5 >_>

5) Now, the thing is, in game, the claws are retractable because that's how the devs made claws. Now I'd be fine with eitehr one, but I'd almost actually prefer if they were just out the whole time. Still, it's your call, I'm all right with whatever is easier/your preference. :) (And maybe they could be a little shorter too. >_> The fact that they look the length of my forearm always irked me.)

Oh! Also, I just remembered that screenshots often look a little dark to others. If you try turning up your brightness a bit, you can probably see him clearer.

Street_Wolf

Sorry for bringing so many things up last second >_>

Here's a final list of little details on Street Wolf:

- Backwards Cap

- Bandit Style Bandanna on Face

- Broach (and strap) in front to hold Cape (the cape is a full cape ;))

- Belt (this is the thing I forgot to mention. Still, there are already belt meshes out there, so hopefully if you have gotten started, this shouldn't be too hard. Sorry for throwing this in late!)

- (Last One!) Converse Style Sneakers. These are something that would probably concern a skinner more. If there's any real meshing that you think *it needs*/*you want to do on it*, be my guest, but I don't think it really has any profound bumps or anything.

Peerless1

Well, it looks like you get a 2 for 1 special.  I will start work later today.  Hopefully have a skope (at least to tide you over until some1 more talented can make a full mesh...) done by Monday.

Great look for Street Wolf BTW.  The seemingly contrasting elements really compliment his overall design.

Soon... :)

Street_Wolf

^_^ Thanks so much! I'm excited to think that  I might be able to bring Street into  :ffvstr:

Also thanks on the compliment too! :)

Peerless1

NP ...  ^_^ to help.

Also, in case I forgot to tell you...it needs conversion.   my converter keeps failing and I don't know why...

Hit the streets already!
