Trouble with irrantional FX

Last night I toyed around with making some FX using the Irrational FX as a base.  I have had limited success with making arrows almost dart sized for my Dark Wolf o.c. and a recolor of the phantom shot to be a blast of gold energy.

However ever, I attempted the same process I normally do when manipluating FX.  Copying the nif folder renaming it, and getting my TGA's set up.

I was attempting to using Tombstones phantom shot to create Spider-Man's impact webbing/web ball.  and when I went to save the nif I got an error message saying failed to save "impact_web" nif. (done in the style of the announcer from the old Batman Series) Could this be an issue with my modifications? Has anyone ever run into this sort of thing before?  Does anyone  know if there are impact web/web ball and spidey stinger fx that I can use instead of creating my own?

Hmm odd, because I pulled it from the irrantional arts folder to my desktop for editing? how would I go about this differently IPS
