hi guys... i'm new to this community but not to the game... so i was just wondering if anyone of you can help me on how to hex a mesh wherein when you finished hexxing it's size like for example making a smaller version on hulking meshes, and when you finished hexxing it to the size that you want, it seems that when you use it in-game, and whenever you pick up stuff, the objects seem to be where it was when you didnt hex the mesh, its like floating around the mesh because of the resize... can anyone teach me on how to hex a mesh and the objects that it weilds to the same place and size... thanks...

i believe youre talking about the bounding box and selection box that surround the mesh,  these are invisible things that basically dictate to the game the actual size of the 3d object.
if you are using nifskope, click on render, then show hidden pieces,  you will see the boxes ,  then by editing them,  just make them the same proportions as the mesh itself.

hope this helps.

oh and Welcome to the forums,   were friendly here,  so just ask if youre having troubles.

hmmm... haven't tried using nifskope... i'm still using the mesheditor one, coz i'm kinda old school... heheheh... i guess i'll try nifskope this time... thanks dude...

no prob bob,
i used to use mesh editor too,  but it was always really tricky to get the bounding box and weapon nodes hexed right.    i remember once i hexed vals dragon mesh to be Lockheed sized,  but the bounding box and weapon node were still way off,  so he had like a 30 foot clearance for a 2 foot body!!

i've used nifskope but can't seem to get the hang of it... i've successfully resized the mesh better than before, but i still have the same problem with the bounding and selection boxes... i've changed it a lot of times and tried all the scales but still don't work... maybe if i can send the mesh to someone who knows nifskope more, maybe they can help me out with my problem...
