Hi guys (and gals),

This isn't technically a request for a skin, but more of a request for help with a texture...LOL.

I need some help with an alpha on my mod's start screen, here's a pic...

As you can see, I wasn't able to alpha the white out completely and I've tried several times to do it (with no luck. obviously...LOL)...I'm not so good with the tech stuff.  I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Project Dogwaffle.  I still don't know much about alphas and such.

Can anybody help with this, maybe some skinners who are good with alphas?  I really appreciate any help you can provide.

here's what I would do:
all the area you want gone, colour solid black on a new layer, that way if you get any bleeding at all, it will be black.
control left click the blacked out layer, this should select all the parts you just filled, with the marquee tool selected right click and select "invers selection", then go to the channels tab and select new layer, this should creat a layer named "alpha1" this should make a black and white silhoutte of your desired alpha.
save the tga in 32 bit with lowercase extension (so it's image.tga and not image.TGA upper case extensions dont work very reliably)

I got it fixed, YAAAYYYYY!  Thank you so much, UFB!
