Hi! I'm Steven; the latest newbie to darken the streets of Patriot City. :ph34r:

First, thankyou all; for such a great bunch of websites & forums (more than I can fathom!)

I'v only just scratched the surface of :ffvstr: and moved on to install the really cool Modding tools; ffvt3r_mod_tools (v1.1), ffx (v3.2). {in that order}

I have some small experience with Python, alot with 3D Animation.

Am I correct in thinking that there is no interface for EZscript ? (It is just a Langauge Interpreter)

What is the Python version for ffvstr ??

Can somebody please point me to a good Thread that will get me started on Modding (With examples ! please.)

FF and FFvTTR use python 1.5 (no, I don't know why)

EZ script is a simple interpreted language. There is no user interface for it, if that's what you mean. Just use a text editor. As for a programming interface, you can call the encounter subsystem in m25enc.py directly, or you can write custom functions that get called from EZ script, but it is far easier to just write EZ script stories.

You can find documentation on EZ script in the FFX3.2 manual.

There are several tutorials about FF and FFvTTR in the wiki http://frworld.wikispaces.com/

Feel free to ask questions in the mod and scripting forums. There are many helpful people there.
