Whats Up With NPI?

Just tried to access the Meshworks at NPI, and got a 403 Forbidden Error. Turns out I get the same when trying to load any of the pages off the home page, which itself looks a little odd. It's not a browser issue - I get the same from two different machines running different browsers. Has NPI been hacked?

I 'ave no real idea what's up with the site...though personally I can say that there are very few of the crew still creating characters...off the top of my head there's myself and Carr.  Carr has released his stuff onto his Yahoo groups while I've been stockpiling my stuff on my comp (mostly to as a backup incase I've got to go back freelancing again).

Same issue here.

Except that I recently discovered that I lost all but the martial artist vx kfs in my last crash.  Is there a Yahoo group with these on it?  Or do you know any other options.  It would be a sad loss if permanent.  NPI has always been a top-notch site.

All of the Meshworks files are still there... just the html stuff was messed with.

I've learned to take notes of direct access links just in case of eventual web site hackings/errors after many years of pulling my hair out.

Actually there are more than just a few coincidences...especially seeing as he had previously PMed me saying he was going to hack the boards...I didn't believe him then but now I'm not so sure...I still wonder though why he told me....seeing as I'm one of those who have a strong dislike of him as a person.

To settle a few issues... yes NPI was hacked... my entire server was severily hacked.  My host moved NPI to a new server... but I had to access my control panel and grant public access to the subdomains (meshworks, insider, original freedom).

However...

Right before my host made the move... I went into the hospital with complications due to my own re-occuring health issues.  I've been in the hospital and a health care facility since.  I hope to be able to go home in a few weeks... as long as I respond positively to treatments.

Even before this... I had taken a break from the community for the most part.  I still have ideas... but I've lacked the motivation to see them thru.  But who knows...

A good friend who knew I was going bonkers with out access to my PC loaned me his lap-top with wireless net capability until I get out.  So I'll be around here some.

The orignal freedom forums are a different story... they were hacked very bad (not by VLAD)... I don't think I'm going to go thru the effort to fix and re-install.  Peeps who know my best will understand my reasons.
