need some help with character tool crashing

ok i recently got myself a new laptop, though it came with vista everything has installed and is working. i managed to get character tool installed and it opens up, yet crashs everytime i try to open a mesh now i dont have the game installed

now heres the strange thing i also installed character tool 2 which opens and loads meshs no problem, doesnt anyone have any ideas


one thing i was looking is in the properitys menu there is a compatibilty aspect that lets you secelt to run it through windows xp with service pack 2, but does the service pack 2 problems effect the CT?

if you have the diskspace install a parallel windows, such as 98, or xp pre sp2, then just load up the alt when you want to do  :ff:.
