Toybox and NPI Problems

The Toybox is looking kind of odd, and I think C6's Legion skins are gone.  Maybe they aren't related?
Also, NPI is down.  Now all I get is links to Audi's, Ghostface Killa, and porn.
Anyone else having these problems?

NPI's been hacked, far as I can tell. Norton Anit- Virus went nuts when I checked out the page.

Same thing with Ren's Toybox, minus the viruses.

Yeah, the ToyBox has gotten hit a couple of times in the past few weeks. It's nothing too serious to clean out, but I'm no Internet expert so I don't really know how the pests are getting in or how to stop them. Since I assume the site is now on some jerk's radar, please don't be shy about giving me a heads up anytime you run into a problem. I don't check the site everyday so I won't always know something is wrong until someone tells me.

I know blaming him for our problems upsets some people, but still, its a little too obvious sometimes..

Vlad only recently got banned from NPI, so the timing is certainly... interesting. But of course, the internet is full of weasels who go around trying to hijack sites for one reason or another, so it doesn't necessarily have to be someone with a grudge.

Try something more along the lines of *years* ago.  He was the first problem child I ever got to witness/participate in once I became a Titan.  And his ban over at FCE is something along the lines of a year or so ago now, too.  Actually, I'm surprised it's taken this long for him to get the boot by HQ.  I've gotta give 'Quake props for being as patient and understanding as a human can be, but some people are their own worst enemy.  Whatever skill he may have had was completely unbalanced by his personality.  To me, it was only a matter of time.  And, for the record, I've been suspiscious of him & the timing of his boots & "random" hacks for quite a while now.

Yes, and I suspect we'll be hearing from him soon enough.

Oh and as a full explaination as to why he was banned at FR... Someone requested a mrvel (skin I don't remember the exact character now) on the NPI forums. Vlad made a horrible joke about wanting "five dollars" for it. When asked to stop, given how even joking about making money on copyrighted characters was grounds for the forums to be sued, Vlad persisted with such statements as "I want that in pennies". House Quake read the thread and banned him. He then got another account to flame HQ and anyone who rejoiced his departure, and at one point stated "I hope the forum stays up  :D"

Trust me, if it truly is him, you won't be hearing from him for long.  A perma-ban is just that....permanent.

Two things:

1.  Did you mean to say why he was banned at NPI, and typed FR instead?

2.  This could technically fall into the category of "airing dirty laundry", which is generally frowned upon.  I'd recommend the safest course of action to be dropping the subject of Vlad altogether.

The seemed to have fixed the problem last week.
Now Meshworks and the Forums are the new victims of a hack-job. Just when I was about to see about NifSkope Autobot doors to Val's older generation of Transformer meshes. When I did a view-source of the (now blank) forums page, I got a bunch of strange spam links.
