Mr. Hamrick

No, this does not go in the Film, TV forum.

For those who do not know, I have been working in the film, video, and television field for nearly two years now while going back to school for my second bachelor's degree (in Digital Film and Video Production).

Well, for the past several weeks, I've been semi-involved with a major project.  As of a few days ago, I am full-fledged involved with the project.  The project?  Some of my associates and I are putting together a behind the scenes of the ABC show "Extreme Home Makeover".  All the footage has been shot for both the shows and for the behind the scenes.  We FINALLY have everything indexed and I think everything is transcribed.  Well, yesterday (as it's technically Wednesday), I got my assignment on what section of the behind the scenes I will be editing.  My section and the 11 (I think) other sections that will make up the behind the scenes documentary will be one of the bonus features on a forthcoming DVD of the show.

In addition to that huge project, I will be involved with another project that is more local oriented.  The Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund does a yearly luncheon where it announces the grants it is giving out for the year and to get donations.  A part of this luncheon is a series of videos that are done by students at The Art Institute of Atlanta.  I am co-writing one of the pieces and I will be directing at least one of the others.  A side note about the piece I am co-writing . . . Gdaybloke has given us a small degree of assistance with the project.  I'm saying no more other than that.

Talk amongst yourselves.  Feel free to feed my ego.

Congratulations!  That's pretty sweet.  Best of luck.

 Congrats! And to think that you get to make Ty Pennington look better along with the rest of the cast of the show..

And now you just need to talk your way into making the DVD extras for Heroes... :D

Mr. Hamrick

Sad thing is that I think our department has some sort of working deal with ABC and its programming and Heroes is on NBC.
