Okay everyone, here's the deal.

We were still running way too high on resources, so there weren't a lot of choices available other than getting suspended again.  The Titans made the choice to remove all the old posts and topics in order to keep things going while I search for the problems in the database.  Presuming I find the problem, we'll be able to restore all the old stuff, so keep your fingers crossed.

Otherwise, post away!

Any progress yet on finding the database problems?

If it is simply a matter of having enough bandwidth, then perhaps an alternative host with higher bandwidth should be considered? I could offer some suggestions on good (and affordable) web hosts and I'm sure other members could give such suggestions as well.

Don't get me wrong: I'm happy that Freedom Reborn is back! :thumbup: But it's bittersweet considering how some of the old posts and topics are what I miss most.

PS: I only just discovered that Freedom Reborn was back. I haven't posted anything since 2005. Since then I joined the Four Color Explosion community so as to continue discussions about Freedom Force. But they've been down for ages too. I was getting desperate until I found you guys were back...

Bandwidth is not the issue.  We were hacked (more than once), and there's still something (we're not yet sure what) in the old database that's causing issues.

P.S.:  FCE has been back up for a while now, also.  Randy installed new software (the same as we're using here), so the URL may have changed.  Try this:  http://www.fourcolorexplosion.com/simple/index.php
