Hello, new guy around here.

It's been years since I played the original FF, and I remember there being an abundance of meshes, skins etc. available, but I never really found something to that extent for Part 2 - in fact, I have been unable to even find a basic skin to start working from, and it frustrates the hell out of me.

Could anyone provide me with a link to where I can find basic skins and fitting meshes from which I can start building my own skins (preferably "male heavy"-types, maybe with cape even)? If someone had an actual "Luchador"-skin/mesh of ANY kind, that would be even greater. All for "Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich", mind you. I'd be most thankfull.

Most meshes for Freedom Force will work on the second game FFVT3R. They just need to be converted using the Nif Converter. You can download it at Alex's site. http://www.alexff.com/goodies.php

There are a lot of base skins out there too. You can check the master mesh list and the yahoo group list here. http://yearbook.freedomu.info/

There are some wrestler skins also at FXforce (see Soulman's skins).http://www.fxforce.com/FXLOW.html

Not sure whether there are any Luchador keyframes though.

Thanks, the "Mr America"-Skin was pretty close to what I had in mind already!

But there's another problem:
I managed to apply the skin (with some Photoshop-work) to the "Iron Ox"-mesh (would do to for the time being). I created an "own" character in the game, exchanged the textures etc. - it shows up correctly in the Character Tool 2.0, it also shows up correctly in the game's edit mode, character selection etc. - but whenever the actual mission starts, the texture will always just be plain ole' Iron Ox again instead of "Mr. America"... :(

Are you playing FF1 or FFv3r? I had to change some TGA files to DDS files for some meshes, because if FFv3R had a choice, it would choose the DDS over the TGA files. If I had a TGA Iron Man for Microwave's mesh, it would display Microwave in the game itself, although it would show me Iron Man in the character creation section. It was annoying.

Well, waddaya know, after trying three(!) different NIF-converters, I finally got it working - thanks to you guys nonetheless!
