Anyone reading FEAR AGENT?

I just picked up the first three trade paperbacks. I don't usually read sci-fi (even Judge Dredd is bit of a struggle for me), but this was really enjoyable action stuff which doesn't get too bogged down in heavy tech explanations or pseudo sci-fi philosophy. It is also one of the few comics I've read where time-travel is a major part of the storyline and ISN'T ultra-annoying.

The art is by co-creator Tony Moore (who was the original artist on The Walking Dead) ... it's superlative. The comic also uses another regular artist, Jerome Opena, who has a complementary artistic style to Moore. So the change between the two artists is never jarring (which I found was a fault with The Exterminators).

Anyway, I just wanted to give this comic a rap ... I knew little about it before buying it (aside from Tony Moore being the artist/co-creator ... I'm a fan of Walking Dead and The Exterminators) and I was pleasantly surprised by how cool it was.

Issue #1 is available from Newsarama if anyone is interested: http://www.newsarama.com/ImageComics/FearAgent/FearAgent01issue.htm

Fear Agent, Elephantmen and G0DLAND are 3 books that i wish i got regularily,  however,  all of them are so great and nearly each issue is self-contained, i don't feel lost when i do pick them up out of order or whatever.

and fear agent is pretty much rock and roll in comics form.

Yeah, by the third TPB Fear Agent, I was pretty much in love with the book. I actually just started reading Transmetropolitan too, so I'm being saturated with some good sci-fi.

I've heard rumblings that Godland is cool. I haven't heard much about Elephantmen, though. I'm going to have to look into it.
