Well Hedley, here's hoping you managed to get your "Rock Ridge" out there somewhere. :(

As a less than cultured and somewhat "rough-around-the-edges redneck jarhead", I consider "Blazing Saddles" one of the funniest movies EVER.  Odd that just over the weekend Mel Brooks was being interviewed on NPR and he talked about Harvey Corman and Gene Wilder as great actors and individuals.

Rest well Hedley, rest well....and hopefully Slim Pickens will pull an ol' "Number Six" for you when you go through the eternal gates...........um, on second thought, scratch that.  I'm not sure that would go over very well. ^_^

Everywhere I've seen posts about his passing, people have mentioned Blazing Saddles, yet neglect to mention the Carol Burnett Show, which is a shame, because when he and Tim Conway were on it, it was easily the best comedy show since I Love Lucy.

I was tempted to go to a show he and Tim Conway were doing here a few years ago, but couldn't afford tickets at the time. :(

R.I.P.

Harvey was A-List.   Every time he was on stage - movie or TV -- he stole the show.
