Does this game completely own anyone else's life?

I have a female Khajit, level 16 assassin. Oh, and she's a vampire too.

All the lost hours...

*lost in thought about his own pathetic pseudo-life*

It used to^^ And it will own it again sooner or later

I beg to differ  :loupitchfork

I did play this game, it is fun. (but no game should ever own your life)

Take up horse riding - it's fun & keeps you fit  ;)

Do not negociate our roles. Keep in mind that you owe me your first born.  :gniburning

Edit: I love that game. But Morrowind was richer

I actually never played any of the other Elder Scrolls games. I just kind of randomly picked up Oblivion and the addiction began... so yeah. Skooma is fun XD

Yah I agree with that. Oblivion just feels like Morrowind, only prettier and easier.

Loss of medium armor, loss of polearms, loss of any upward movement spells, and the whole "leveled" system just kind of killed the game for me. That, and without mods, trying to make a decent looking character, particularly a female, is nigh impossible. My Bosmer rogue looks like she was beaten with an ugly stick, but atleast the grass looks pretty...I guess. What else did we lose? The entire enchantment magic set, leaving instead idiot proof enchanting. Loss of regen spells. Loss of the ability to wear enchanted clothes under your armor. Loss of the unarmored "armor" skill. Pushing of axes and maces into one set and daggers, short blades and regular blades into one set. Pauldrons being merged with armor. The lack of almost any good items being found before level 20.

And there's the fact if you're not careful to level combat skills of any kind, and decide to level things like alchemy, you can find yourself at 20 completely unable to fight anything. That leveling system leaves much to be desired.

Pretty graphics are one thing, but Morrowind was just much more fleshed out than Oblivion overall, leading to a greatly richer gaming experience. That, and I've done almost every quest in Oblivion, but was nowhere near 50% completed the total number quests in Morrowind, and I easily pumped 200 more hours into Morrowind.

I can't keep the stupid game from crashing....

...maybe too many mods?
