I'm trying to find fast jazzy versions of classical music and 1950s songs. I'm especially looking for a march. The word is 'CAMPY'. I need camp and lots of it. I already have a bunch of Batman music (from the TV show) but I need non-Batman stuff.

Okay, I got two solutions from video games for you:

First is music from Team Fortress 2, which is some of the best jazzy campy music you'll find anywhere:
Clicky

And second is music from the game Evil Genius, which is basically the exact same production style, and filled with all sorts of camp goodness
Clicky

(You'll need to make a fileplanet account, but that's free to do.. if you reallly didn't want to do that, then I guess I could download these and send them to ya..

Best part about these resources? They be free, boy!

Hope that helps!

Have you considered any of the classic Warner Brothers cartoons (Bugs, Daffy, etc) for the classical stuff?  I have a cd, The Carl Stalling Project (one of their main conductors back then), with quite a few bits on it.

For a march, what about typical circus music?  Entry of the Gladiators might be a possibility.

A wonderfully campy march song is "Stout Hearted Men," as sung by Nelson Eddy.  I was able to find and download it off the web before heading to work this morning, though I'm having difficulty finding the site again.

Plus, if you can find it, there's always the "Men In Tights" song from Robin Hood: the Mel Brooks movie.

I can't speak to the camp requirement off the cuff, but you'd be hard pressed to go jazzier than Jethro Tull's arrangement of "Bourée" by J. S. Bach (even though Bach is considered baroque and not classical music, per se).

I don't know if this qualifies, but these folks put out collections of crime, spy and cop movie and TV show jazz.  A friend of mine has one of the CDs and it's a lot of fun.  You might also consider the Incredibles soundtrack, as it was intentionally made to sound like classic 60s-70s crime/spy jazz.

I agree, + evil genious is a great game regardless of the music. I made a playlist for that game I called 'spy vs spy' which included world music, trip hop, crazy 60's stuff and some sexy pop. Here's some suggestions though

As for sped up Classical, you cannot go wrong with Yngwie Malmsteen

If you've got software for recording music (or if you can manage to have a line-out from your PC to an external recorder), you can just go to SomaFM.com, click on their "Secret Agent" music stream (which plays "spy"-type music, 60's lounge, and intentionally campy send-ups) and record away.

Personally, I use the free Audacity audio editor and recorder for recording music off of on-line streams because it allows me to generate effects (fades, etc.) and whatnot, and the interface is fairly easy to navigate.

Sorry - I had intended to imbed the link and forgot.  Here's the CD my friend has, and a Google search of crime and/or spy jazz can point you in the direction of others.  Unfortunately I can't find my way back to the site I had intended to link . . .
