Valandar

I was asked if I had shown off my latest high-res creation (read: NON-game model) here yet.

I had not.

Therefore:

Alaric

That's... amazing! I can almost see it burbling as it comes!

Lionheart

...Did gyre and gimble in the wabe...

Excellent job of bringing the drawing to life!

Valandar

I should note that Jabberwocks get scared if you take them out of their native environment, and put them somewhere, like, a city...

Uncle Yuan

Excellent!  Now we need to see the jubjub bird
and the frumious Bandersnatch!

BlueBard

Oddly enough, I just introduced my two oldest boys to 'Jabberwocky' the other day :)

Excellent rendition of the Jabberwock... it looks exactly like the illustration, only better!

lugaru

Wow... my first thought was "oh no fair, he's a sculptor too!".

Amazing looking, honestly.

GhostMachine

That's awesome, Val! I really like the face, and the texturing on the skin is amazing.

Now I've seen it all...

Phantom Bunburyist and The Prat in the Hat

The Phantom Eyebrow

That's some pretty awesome modelling there Val.  Tis brillig all right.

Tortuga

Looks like someone needs to cut their finger nails.

Outcast

Really impressive 3d image you made there, Valandar.

What software did you use?  :)
How many hours did you spend making it?

Well, hoping to see more of your work in the future.

The model itself was made in 3DS Max (on my old computer, one of the last things I made on it), mapped in UVLayout, and textured in Photoshop and Deep Paint 3D. It was then rigged for Poser, and rendered in Poser 6.

Glitch Girl

Sweet model Val!  Is it up for sale yet?  I've been sorta out of the Poser market most of the year (minus freebies) but I want to pick this one up.
