I was contemplating the relatively negative tenor of many comics fans (including myself) when I came across Scott Tipton's latest Comics101 article. Couldn't have come at a better time. Click here for the full article. Didn't agree with everything he wrote, but it still made me feel good about being a current comic book reader.

A lot of very good points there, and the reason I hold on to the little that I do.  Booster Gold and hints within give me.......hope, dare I say it?

I share the opinion that there are a lot of great things happening in comics right now. While a lot of bad stuff is being put out these day's it's still much better than the late 90's where I was hard pressed to find a single book I could enjoy.
