Transfer/Rename: Are you going to use it?

Todays patch included the bits and pieces needed for them to implement the Transfer/Rename feature. Sometime soon it will go live. Are you going to use it?

The reason I ask if anyone here is going to use it is because I'm a noob compared to most of you and I have no use for it. Currently I have 6 toons on Freedom, 3 on Virtue and 3 on Infinity. I gots plenty of room to roll more. ;)

it's easy enough to level a character up compared to 3 years ago. if I want prelate or silver prelate or whomever on another server, I'll just go make them there.

I plan to send the Afro and Fidela to Liberty. They weren't really my toons to begin with, so they can go join my sisters toon over there.

I have 14 Heroes/Villains Level 38 and higher on Freedom, so I'll probably transfer a couple to another server.  I may rename a couple too. 

Ill  Be sending  London Steel And Winter Wicca out to pasture on Champion. That way I can open up a couple of more slots.  Other than  Black 13, (whom I would only rename in configuration only black 13 instead of Black Thirteen) there's nobody I want to rename.

I've got a number of toons who are too boring to get to 50, but too high to delete as well.

Rename, maybe....

Transfer, no way.  There are plenty of free spaces on other servers, no need to spend money to open spots on Freedom.

It's been around 6 months since the Transfer/Rename feature has been implemented. I haven't had a use for either feature but thinking about it got me wondering... have you?

Anyone here use either feature? If so how many times? If not what deterred you?

Yes. I've changed character names three times and I've only regretted it once. (Stupid Fire/Kin)

i've changed the name of 2 of my chars and i have no regrets.

Rename?  I'd rather start over in most cases.  It helps that I never settle for names like S00p3rm@n... I keep trying with other names at character creation until I find one that works.

Transfer?  Never had a reason to, and don't expect to ever get one.

Well I've probably done around a dozen transfers now. I think General Afro alone has jumped to 3 or 4 different servers before somehow ending up back on Freedom. If my friends can blow 11 bucks every other day on a pack of smokes, I can easily bring myself to move a character for the same price.

The moral of the story kids, smoking is for losers. CoX is where the cool kids hang out.
