I actually just wanted to share the fact that I am NOT playing bioshock at this moment. I queued it up for download but it wont be done until like 8 hours from now which kind of sucks given how exited I am about this one. I'm just mad I didint have the common sense to leave it downloading overnight so I could play it this morning. Grrr...

I was gonna get the demo but I saw the system requirements... my processor barely makes the minimum and my pitiful video chipset makes the game out of the question. And here I was going to revel in an Objectivist society gone wrong (take that Ayn Rand and your "philosophy"!) Maybe in a year or three.

Playing it right now... it's a fantastic game, but I suck at shooters. I'd almost rather WATCH someone play than do it myself. :)

Send me the game and a decent PC and I'll video tape myself playing it for you

I played the demo... not sure if I'm going to get the game or not. It looks gorgeous, but the combat system is a little over-complicated and gimmicky for my tastes. Using one attack to stun a bad guy and then having to switch weapons to finish them off is a pain. Just let me shoot 'em and be done with it!  :P

STEAM say's it is 98% done. Dont ask me why I went with steam instead of going out to buy it, I have just had bad experiences with the local gaming stores. Everything sells out instantly here.

Im a little worried about system requirements but honestly Im sure my machine can handle it, especially since people complained a lot about STALKER being graphics intensive and my machine loves that game. I'll be back once I get a few hours of gaming into me.

I've been playing the game ever since it came out and I'm lovin it.  the graphics are BEAUTIFUL!  It also helps if you have a decent gaming  rig.  The only problem with it is the widescreen problem.  Google it for more details.  So far I've learn one thing from playing this game......Don't mess with Big Daddy! :eek2:

no way can my computer handle it smoothly. So if I ever get the chance to play it, it'll be on 360, if I ever buy one of those (Im thinking yes, when Halo 3 comes out)

Let me know when you do, so I can add you to my friend list

My machine seems to totally dig this game, which is good news, it means I still dont have to upgrade for a good while. As for the game itself I'm really loving it. It alternates between beautiful and terrifying and both the action and story are really exciting. Sometimes I feel that the deal with the little sisters is a whole lot of shock value but still it works nicely as a symptom of how wrong that society has gone.

But yeah, I'll be playing this one a lot.

I'm playing it on the PC and enjoying it immensely. It's extremely atmospheric, with great spooky sound.

It's mostly in the RPG-horror-shooter vein of System Shock, of course. But I see little bits of Freedom Force peeking out here and there, expecially in the retro art direction and the superpowers plasmids you acquire along the way.

Only one piece of bad news... I somehow finished it already!

Yeah, game's a little bit short but still quite an experience. I should be starting it again on monday to get the other ending and to play with a different layout.

There has been a lot of bad press with this game about the activation & not supporting true widescreen.  Any of you guys are bother by this?  The widescreen bother me a bit, but there's an official "hack" that will fix it.  If Ken every come back to these boards, we have to give him a big pat on the back.  This game rules!
