MJB

Well it's over... or it will be in a few hours from this post anyway.

How did you all make out? Me? I got General Victory (tank) from level 30 to 34, Lou (mm) from lvl 28 to 34 and  Kindle (controller) from 12 to 17. Oh and I helped Middy ding his tank.

GhostMachine

I think I did pretty well considering I didn't get to play nearly as much as I wanted to. (I had to log off early Friday night because I had to be up early Saturday, for one thing; all told, if things had gone my way, I would have gotten about 4 or 5 more hours in)

Instead of focusing on one or two characters, I tried to level up several of them, but only my characters on Freedom and none of my villains.

Blazing D - my Fire\Axe Tanker - went from lvl 11 to 14.
Buck McLeod - my Warshade - went from lvl 20 to lvl 25.
Berzerker Beast - my Claws\Regen Scrapper - gained only one level, going from 13 to 14. That was my objective, though, because I only wanted him to level so I could get Super Jump. The group I ran him in disbanded shortly after he dinged, or I probably would have kept going.
Rad Golem - my Illusion\Rad Controller - went from lvl 17 to 20.

Uncle Yuan

I did actually manage to get Uncle Yuan from 44.0 to about 45.4, but as you might imagine, I didn't have much time to play this weekend.

gdaybloke

I had very little playtime on my end; got a level for Butterfly Knight and 1.5 levels for Southern Son, that's about it.

Midnight

My tank hit 50 and my brute got a couple levels. Worked three evenings, which sucked but... *shrug*

Courtnall6

Solarwave - blaster - lvl 6 to lvl 21

Captain Quantum - tank - lvl 26 to lvl 30 (auras! woot!)

MikeB7

I....had a lot of time....

Chronotrapper (brute) went from 35 to 38
Candy Butcher (corrupter) went from 33 to 34
Septivus (brute) went from 15 to 20
The Sultan of Flames (brute) went from 1 to 18
OpticNerve (controller) went from 37.01 to a smidge under 38.  Smidges totally count.

El Condor

I only managed to poke my head in a little each night, and dealt with some Freedom-Frustration trying to log in, too...

*POTUS XL3 from 17 to 19

*KonTraDikshun from 19 to 20

*Psykotronic from 13 to 14

*Guerra up to a "smidge" under 15  :)

EC

B A D

I Thought it was nice (and annoying) to see the the server screen lit up like a xmas tree...I have to say that was  a lot more successful then the last Double XP weekend...

Verfall

Thanks to the lovely state of Freedom when it hit red, my leveling was hindered. I managed to get Fidela from 48 to 50, Ekaterina from 24 to 25, Septus from 24 to 27, Sui from 11 to 13 and a new brute on Virtue to 6.

My original plan to get Afro to his armor failed miserably since any teams running in the early 40's I couldn't hook up with thanks to login issues.

ThePrelate

I got prelate up to.. 42 I think.

I had some crap luck on pugs. REALLY crap luck. A few really good groups, but SO MANY of them were nightmares. people would join, quit mid-fight. My favorite are the people who quit the first time they die (especially after a good 30 min without any deaths in group, and mad XP farming).

add to it the lag and the occassional DC I would get on zoning, and it was frustrating.

I talked a friend IRL into buying the game, so I sacrificed most of Sunday night helping him level his villian, instead of playing Prelate, which was my plan.

But got him to lvl 9, and considering how retarded he is at learning stuff, that is a good accomplishment. Especially when He used his Pocket D pass, and went to Sharkhead, and couldn't figure out how to get out. I had to go pick him up and escort him back to Mercy . He was level 2 at the time ;)

Viking

I got my level 38 Scrapper up to level 39, and pretty much stopped there.  CoH got boring.

BlueBard

I didn't get much play time... and got none with anyone from FR... but I did manage to hook into some decent teams and managed to get Astragirl on Virtue up to 13 and I got MaximumMan on Guardian up to 18.  Two levels each, not too bad.

I would have probably done more, but Sunday night Freedom and Virtue were both Heavy and I figured it wouldn't be worthwhile to try logging in on either.  Lagging is always much worse when they're loaded like that.

I got some of what I wanted, though.  Astra's that much closer to Fly, and Max picked up Invincibility on his way toward picking up a cape.  I even managed to do a fair job running star on the Nocturne mish.  I normally avoid star, but it worked out this time.

Funeral-Pyre

I managed to get three of my teen villains to 20!  Whoot!

captainspud

I intended to get six toons on Virtue from 14 to 22, but I had so much fun with Faeryn, my Fire/Storm troller, that once I hit 22 I just kept going. He's 28.8 now. I did get two others to 22 (PB and Defender), and I played with TeeWee a bit on villains to get n00b from 46.1 to 46.85.

Tortuga

I played more villains than heroes...
-played Great Gusto to 40 so he can start his Patron arc.
-got Dangerous Dave to 34.5 or so.
-Temperature Tantrum went from 14 to 20 and hopefully will suck less as he gets closer to the later fire/ice powers.

The only hero I played at all was Fearomones who is almost 14 now.

Adamence

My original soft goal was to just get a bunch of toons to 20 or SO level, but once I really got started with my scrapper, I just couldn't seem to stop, so I mostly played him all weekend doing a few TFs which I figured was probably the best way to ensure I was on a big team for a long amount of time.  Oh, and did Sister Psyche for crazy XP on purple freaks.  2.5 levels on the first two missions.  *drools*

Rad Cow (Earth/Rad Controller) went from 17... to 18.  Just couldn't play this guy when I knew my Alt SG needed a sweet chunk of that double prestige.

Duskflare (Warshade) went from 4 to 17.  Playing the squid was rather fun, got him up a bit, took him to the hollows and had a great PuG, we had a couple Khelds and a decent tank and raced through the content to FrostFire and did him a couple times.  Then I got on a Posi group late on Friday, we disbanded when we all hit 16 because we had a lot left to do.  So then I got him one last level teaming with Em, so he wouldn't cry.

Th Dsmvwllr (Claws/Dark Scrapper) was my pride and joy.  He went from 7 to 32 over the course of the weekend because I apparently have no life.  That was a lot of fun.  It was radio missions until 15 or 16.  Faultline until I hit 20.  And when I hit 20, I went to IP and got a Sister Psyche TF going.  It sucked that I only went from freshly 20 to 3 bars shy of 26, since I wanted to go all the way.  Oh well.  So as a late 25, got on a Citadel TF and took that to almost 29.  Got on a few big teams to get to 31.6, then just duoed with Em for the last 4 bars.

All in all, it was a very productive weekend for me.

AncientSpirit

Naturally, 2x weekend was full of events where I couldn't log on -- including Father's Day, which was a hoot.   But I did get on for a whole bunch of hours on Saturday morning/afternoon ... and that took my invul/energy tank, Super X Girlfriend, from 38 to 41.

She hasn't leveled yet, as I don't know what epic I want to go into.   Any thoughts out there on that?
What are the differences?

(I knew what I wanted for my blaster - Fantastic Torch -- cause he just wanted some protection and was pre-deterimed to go FIRE all the way.)  :D

Viking

AncientSpirit, if you're interested in Super X Girlfriend approximating something like Superman, the simple and straightforward concept is Energy Mastery.

Your first pick would have to be between Conserve Power (lowers Endurance usage for a while), or Focused Accuracy (gives a hefty Accuracy bonus at a massive Endurance cost), but the second tier power is the real conceptual payoff - Laser Beam Eyes.  Beyond that, the final power allows you to project a cone of Energy along the ground.

The Phantom Eyebrow

There was some fun gaming over the weekend.

I didn't get to play as much as I had hoped, but my two main characters got most of the way towards their targets:

Captain Impossible, the Invul/Superstrong tanker, climbed from 15 to 18
The Phantom Eyebrow, the Illusion/Kinetics controller, climbed from 14 to 18

This was a more significant landmark for TPE as he now has a phantom army to fight for him and (more importantly) to draw fire away from his delicate frame.  Yay!

I also tried out some other chars and (indeed) avialed of the prestige bonuses to test some new characters.  The most significant ones being Greenshield and Theresa Crowd who both grew from nothing to level 6.  (This didn't take long at all though)

Raptor

Since I work on the weekends, I didn't think I would get to participate at all.  Luckily for me the wife needed a nap Sunday afternoon (apparently my snoring kept her from sleeping), so I was able to jump on for an hour or so.  I was able to hook up with Time Titan (one of my favorite teaming buddies, btw) and ran my maniacal Scotsman Haggis McMutton (BS/Inv scrapper) up to lvl 15.  We then switched over to upper 30s and I got Arctic Pyre (Fire/Ice blaster) up to 39.  Right after I dinged, I tried to grab another char, but couldn't log back in due to the server traffic.  About that time the wife woke up and we had to get ready to head to my dad's for the Father's Day festivities.

I just hate I didn't get to let TT and Ephy know why I never came back. :(

Time Titan

We figured that heavy traffic on Freedom prevented you from logging back in Raptor. Tough break.

Flying_Fox

I missed the damned thing as I was away Adventurous Training

Gymdawg

Dangit, I thought it was this weekend...
Bah....

AncientSpirit

If you missed double xp weekend, just play twice as much for two days.    No difference.    :D
