My computer reboots when I try to play FFvTTR, what's up with this?

I didn't think it would be overheating but blew out my pc anyway to be sure. The powersupply is new and a good brand. I popped in every game in my library to see if it was only FFvTTR that was giving me grief and it is. Oblivion and Marvel Ultimate Alliance all play with no problems. When I try to play FFvTTR however my comp reboots.

A week ago I was noticing that the game would slow down and then freeze until I blew compressed air into my case and then it would resume normally. I figured that it had to be overheating, but I can't understand how. I have six case fans in there and blow the case out regularly.

Yesterday I downloaded vxSuperman and couldn't even set him up because the computer would keep rebooting. I thought maybe it was the vxSuperman mesh that was causing the problem but how would that be.

I am starting to hate computers. Scanned for viruses and spyware and it turned up nothing. If it is overheating then why does the other games that use more juice, play just fine? Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

A couple of years back I had a problem with BitDefender, an Antivirus/firewall package that caused blue screen o death and reboots when playing FFv3R. Because I'd only recently installed it it was relatively easy to figure out that it was the problem.
Have you installed any programmes recently?
If not, perhaps some part of FFV3R has become corrupted. A reinstall MIGHT help.
