Well mostly.  :thumbup:

At the moment there's a roughly 7 inch incision in my back with a good 20 or so staples in it. There's pictures, I'll share em when I can bend down and plug in a USB cable, heh.

Surgery went fine, spent 4 days in the hospital, got home sunday. In my infinite lack of wisdom I decided to stop taking the narcotic pain-killer I had been living on for two months cold turkey, mostly because it causes problems with..uh...well..potty and stuff. This morning I woke up to the joy of a withdrawal. And by "joy" I mean I've never felt so utterly horrible and sick and just plain fudged up than I did this morning. Two days without the pills and I lose it. The pride she be hurting. Fortunately taking one of the pills fixed me up and I actually feel pretty good right now.

The staples are starting to dry up, so it feels as if a few hundred ants are gnawing on my spine, but I'll take that over my "ode to trainspotting" from this morning. Look's like I'll be weening myself off like the good nurse said.

But I'm alive. My hips took a beating from some moronic young nurse who thought making me sleep on my side on a hospital bed with the texture of concrete my first night after surgery was somehow a good idea, so I kind of walk like that pisa tower dealy, but it should be temporary. Still can't climb stairs so I'm forced to use my sisters comp. There's enough spyware in here to make an IT guy die of eye hemmorage, but I don't plan to do my credit card statements here.

Hope to be back online permanently in a couple weeks, staples come out on the 4th so shouldn't be much longer after that that'll be able to manage stairs.

It also looks like ephys bday is coming up according to the board, so since I'll probably miss the thread, I'll wish him one here. Happy Bday amigo.

I'm off to..well I should go to bed but I just drank two Tim Hortons Ice Caps, so I have enough caffeine in me to keep me awake and peeing for a good couple hours, so I'm gonna go stare at the TV in a daze. Cya guys around.
