Hey folks, this post is for Mike and I to keep track of the special missions, etc. that we're planning on doing for Bravebird and Crystal Belle.  I'm posting this so that anyone else who may want to join in the festivities gets an idea of what's coming up.  So here's the lvl 30-35 plan.

Those items are more or less in order.  If we find that we're at 33 and have a ways to go, we'll bump up the 1st Respec Trial to be before Katie Hannon.

I have things kinda worked out for lvl 35-40, but I'm really hoping (and expecting) that the new zone to be introduced in I10 will be a lvl 35+ zone.  Just for record keeping purposes, here's the rest of what I have worked out:

35-40 Safeguard

Rikti War Zone Arcs (to span gap from Numina to Sewer Trial)*
Rikti War Zone Random Missions (also to span gap from Numina to Sewer Trial)*

I would like to raise my hand right now. I need every TF imaginable since I'm a noob. I also need the respec TF... again. I did the mish once when I was at lvl 26 but I screwed up the slots and need to respec again to fix em.

I have Kid Apogee sitting at 29 ready and willng.

But i MUST, MUST get Saint through Katie Hannon.

I have 5 Heroes :o at the 30-34 range.  I'll look for your team.

We ran the aura/costume missions last night.  I'm cool with doing the respec earlier since Meej needs it. 

I'm good with that too.  But we probably want to wait for the TF bug to go away first.

In the meantime, we could probably get through Croatoa Part 3 and 4 before the bug is fixed.

And MJB, the best levels to respec on are *2 or *7 levels, when you can buy new enhancements.  The trick is, after choosing your slots DO NOT place any enhancements.  Sell them all, then go and buy new ones.  I've actually earned influence doing respecs that way.

Just want to point out that due to a bug in the latest patch this is not a good time to run TFs or trials. See here for details.

Come to think of it, I should probably start a seperate thread about this. They do warn you in the game, but there are various reasons why people may miss that.

When I parked Em I was at 31.4. By the time that I hit 32 they should have the bug fixed. Hopefully Crystal and Bravebird will also hit 32 sometime around then.

I guess what CoV lacks in 'special' team missions, it makes up for with Contact based story arcs.  Compared to CoH though this is really really sad.

I gotta say, so far this The Plan has worked awesomely well.  Bravebird and Crystal Belle have made it to lvl 34, and have only recently done missions from one regular contact, to get the Nem Staff temp power.  We just need to do the other 4 store contact missions and then wait for what Issue 10 ought to bring.

This has been the best way to level a toon in a long time.  Thanks to all the other folks joining us for various TFs, etc.

I've added in i10's Rikti War Zone arcs and the co-op TF.  Is there anything else in i10 that can be added to this list?

There's also a random mission contact in the War Zone if you don't feel like grinding out paper missions.

Is that open to 35-50s as well?

Ayuh. Also, those would be your best bet for farming Vanguard Merits after the War Zone arcs run out and before you're high enough to do mothership raids.

I believe Bravebird is level 39, so it'll be a wait.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is this Plan intended for?  I'm curious.  It deviates significantly from my usual KR/SC/Skyway progression.  It's optimized for levelling quickly, I assume?

The Plan™ is a special mission only way of playing a toon. Tort and Mikey have been playing as Bravebird & Crystal Belle and doing only special content. No normal mission contacts.

"The Plan" is basically a list for myself that I thought I'd share.  I was tired of levelling toons the usual way (regular contacts) and wanted to experience the 'special' content more.  Thus, The Plan was born.  The only time that we've deviated from the plan is in the late 30s.

Bravebird will be running the Sewer Trial soon, and then the new Twilight's Son TF.  That should get us to 40.
