Problem with main mission

On the mission Enter Entropy!, which is 9b, there is a series of 6 temporal machines that need to be destroyed. One is in a room near the boss, with a hypnosphere in front, instead of behind. That door is not showing up as a door, but simply an indestructible object. Not sure if this question has been answered yet, but how do I fix it?

The board's not dead; I just don't think anyone has run into or knows anything about your problem without a more thorough description or maybe a script.log/ff.log. From all accounts, that mission should play in more or less the same way as the previous one.

What things have you tried to open said door?

Ah! good :) Someone who might be able to help.

Well, I don't know how to generate either one of those.

I have used the editor, switched off the read-only, and unpacked the necessary files, and looked at both the scripts and the room design in the editor.

Its door 2i, and thats the script involved.

Thats all it says for the ffedit properties.

I don't know how to generate the two ff files, but if you tell me how, will be more than happy to do so.

As for in game trying, it doesn't even register as a door. Though it looks and says it is one. Its invulerable, though it says it has 10hp. The pointer doesn't change to a hand, just stays the same. In every way, it acts like a part of the terrain, but its supposed to open into a room with the last time doohickey to destroy. Until I can get it to recognize its a door, I am pretty much stuck.

That doesn't indicate any problems. What you need to do is play the actual mission again, encounter the problem of not being able to open the door, exit out the game, then post your script.log (and possibly your ff.log as well).

Your current script.log looks like it was generated after you started a new game.

2020 september.  I have this identical problem.....I'm not seeing any links or instructions on how to create any sort of logs to track down the issue.

My "solution" was to uinstall then reinstall the game. 
I may have then destroyed the amplifiers in a different seaquence.
Also I discovered that Diablo could simply fly over the pink hypnosis jimmies,,,,but Ant could not tunnel under them.
